The Sun reported that former England international Andy Carroll was questioned twice during a dispute with his celebrity makeup artist girlfriend Lou Tisdale while on vacation in Greece.

36-year-old Carol first caused a commotion in the crowded beach restaurant, and then had another accident in a high-end hotel with a price of £500 per night. After the second incident, he was taken to the police station for investigation.

According to the restaurant staff, "We immediately recognized the football star. He was obviously drunk at the time and spoke harshly to his partner. The scene was quite out of place."

When the police intervened for the first time, Carol cooperated to be questioned outside the store and was allowed to leave. But a few hours later, hotel employees called the police for damage to the room. Witnesses said that "Carol smashed the door". His girlfriend moved to another place alone that night.

The next day, Carol was photographed sitting alone by the swimming pool at Santa Ana Beach Club, where Premier League stars such as Anthony Gordon reside. Eyewitness flight passengers revealed that the two were still arguing when they returned to the UK on EasyJet on June 13, and Lou Tisdale suspected of accusing Carol of having an affair with other women during the holiday.

The joint statement of the two sides emphasized last night: "At a regular dinner during the quiet holiday of Mykonos, we had occasional heated discussions between couples. The police quickly realized that their presence was not necessary. We came to the restaurant together with the police officers because they insisted on 'care' us. As far as we were concerned, the matter was seriously exaggerated by a certain pervert, and no one was arrested or prosecuted. We were very happy and in love, and we were looking forward to the future together, and we deeply regret that the private differences had evolved into public events."

Mykonos police and the hotel involved declined to comment.
