media pointed out that Everton is interested in Southampton's 19-year-old winger Dibring, who had previously offered £40 million, while Southampton asked for £45 million + £5 million easily achieved floating, and a 25% resale share.
Southampton's asking price exceeded Everton's budget for Dibring, and Everton initially informed Southampton that they would turn to other goals, when Southampton was reluctant to lower the asking price.
However, now the deal has made a breakthrough, with Everton approaching an agreement with Southampton, with the total transfer fee being slightly higher than £40 million, including a 20% share of the resale, and the two clubs are still finalizing the details and structure of the deal.
Everton has reached a principled agreement with Diblin on personal terms, but it still needs to be finalized that if everything goes according to plan, Diblin will undergo Everton's medical examination early next week.
