Singapore Economic Resilience Group announces member changes, Xiao Zhenxiang and Zhang Songsheng join

Yan Jinyong said: "In accordance with the recent appointments from the Cabinet and the Council of the Federation of Singapore Federation of Industry and Commerce, we have adjusted the composition of the Singapore Economic Resilience Group. The responsibilities of the group remain unchanged. We will continue to work with tripartite partners to help our businesses and workers cope with the current uncertainty of global trade."

At the same time, the new chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Singapore (SBF), Zhang Songsheng will replace Lin Mingyan and become the representative of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Singapore in the Economic Resilience Group.

The Singapore Economic Resilience Group chaired by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry Yan Jinyong, the current members include Minister of Digital Development and Information Yang Liming, Minister of Human Resources and Dr. Chen Shilong, Minister of Human Resources and Ministry of Trade and Industry in charge of Energy and Technology, Minister of National Development Xu Fangda, Xiao Zhenxiang, Zhang Songsheng, Secretary-General of the All-China Workers Association Huang Zhiming, and President of the National Employers Federation of Singapore Qide Chen.

The Singapore Economic Resilience Group stated in a news release on Tuesday (May 27) that the changes will take effect immediately. The announcement was jointly issued by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Singapore Federation of Industry and Commerce, the National Federation of Workers' Federation (NTUC) and the Singapore National Federation of Employers' Federation (SNEF).

The Singapore Economic Resilience Group (SERT) announced member changes, and Education Minister Lee Chi-sung, who is in charge of social service integration, will leave, and Acting Minister of Transport and Senior Minister of Finance, Xiao Zhenxiang will join.
