Newcastle legend McFall died, and Newcastle official social media posted a message to express condolences.
Newcastle official social media wrote: "We are deeply saddened to learn that former club player and coach Willy McFall died at the age of 82. Willy was born in Coleland and joined us from Linfield. He made 386 appearances for the club from 1966 to 1975. All Newcastle members extended sincere condolences to Willy's relatives and friends. In memory of Willy, the players will wear black armbands in the Premier League match tomorrow against Nottingham Forest."
McFall played as goalkeeper in the player era, playing for Newcastle from 1966 to 1975, and served as Newcastle head coach from 1985 to 1988.
