33 years ago today, 17-year-old Beckham made his substitute in the League Cup match against Brighton, making his first-team debut in Manchester United.

Manchester United official post stated: "From a humble beginning to a happy ending. Today in 1992, 17-year-old substitute Beckham made his first debut in Manchester United."

Since then, Beckham has played in a total of 390 games for Manchester United, contributing 85 goals and 121 assists, and won 1 Champions League, 6 Premier League, 2 FA Cups, 4 English Super Cups, and 1 Intercontinental Cup with the team.

At the end of his time at Manchester United, the conflict with his mentor Ferguson intensified, and the "Flying Boot Gate" incident caused the relationship between the two sides to break down, and eventually transferred to Real Madrid for 37.5 million euros in the summer of 2003.
