Haaland, who is currently participating in the World Cup preliminaries with the Norwegian national team, was interviewed and talked about the team's status, fan support and the goal of leading the team into the competition.
What is the current status of the team?
Both the team and I feel good. We look good in training and are ready to play our style and try to win games. We were enjoying ourselves on the pitch, playing good football and trying to make the crowd happy while getting good results. It's great, we're enjoying it and will do our best to have a memorable and informative game at Ullvar Stadium.
Now every game is packed. How does it feel to experience the warm atmosphere of Ullvar Stadium?
The atmosphere here has been great over the past few years and we love it. It means a lot to play for a packed Ullvar Stadium. I remember when I debuted, there were only about eight or nine thousand people in the audience, and now there are twenty-five thousand people. It was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
How strong is your desire to lead this team into a major competition?
This is a goal I have strived for for a long time and is something I am working hard to achieve. I will do everything I can to make sure we win this game (against Israel).
