The phenomenon of vomiting of puppies is common in life, and many reasons can cause vomiting of puppies, such as being too full, gastrointestinal obstruction, physiological vomiting, gastritis, gastrointestinal ulcers, in vivo parasites, etc.

1. Overeating

People often joke that they are "full to vomit", which is actually true in dogs. Eating too much may indeed cause excessive burden on the dog's esophagus, which may cause vomiting if the digestive speed cannot keep up. Parents don’t need to worry too much about this situation, but they should pay attention to controlling the amount of food in the pet during the subsequent feeding process.

2. Gastrointestinal obstruction

Some small things that cannot be digested intestines are easily eaten by dogs, such as ropes, small plastics, cotton, etc. These substances will be blocked in the gastrointestinal tract after being accidentally eaten by dogs, causing gastrointestinal repulsion. At this time, the dog can spit out white mousse-like vomit.

3. Physiological vomiting in dogs is a relatively normal phenomenon. If the dog eats the vomit again after vomiting and there are no adverse reactions, this situation is physiological normal vomiting and does not require additional attention from parents. However, foods that are not easy to digest can also cause physiological vomiting, so parents should pay attention to adjusting the recipe.

4. Gastritis

If the dog's vomit is transparent and white, it may mean that the dog has gastritis. Gastritis will cause major problems in the dog's digestive system, resulting in symptoms such as loss of appetite and vomiting. Parents should take their dogs to the hospital for treatment in time.

5. Gastrointestinal ulcer

If a dog vomits yellow-green bile-like fluid, it may be caused by gastric ulcers. Gastrointestinal ulcers can cause the dog's digestive system to not function properly, and the symptoms include vomiting, or even vomiting blood or bloody stools. Gastrointestinal ulcers do not necessarily vomit frequently. Therefore, pet owners should pay attention to it when their dogs vomit. It is best to take their dogs to the hospital for physical examination regularly to avoid missing the best treatment time.

6. In vivo parasites

There are many in vivo parasites in dogs, including tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, etc. The incubation period of parasites in the body is very long and may not appear after infection for a period of time. Therefore, if the dog vomits due to parasites, it means that the parasite infection has reached a relatively serious situation. Parents should regularly clean the dogs of insects. In addition, dogs like to play outside and may be infected at any time. Deworming inside the body must be done regularly and do not wait until symptoms appear before taking measures.
