If you encounter misfortune in life, will it make you feel discouraged and depressed? However, sometimes a small pet can help humans regain their confidence.

This woman named Maria Williamson was only 26 years old. When she was driving in Alabama and waiting for a red light, a group of robbers shot at her from outside the car. She was hit in the face. After undergoing multiple surgeries, she survived but lost one eye. For a young woman, the world of becoming a one-eyed dragon was unimaginable. She was so depressed that she could not leave the house every day.

Until one day, her boyfriend asked her to read an adoption letter. When she went online, it turned out that a poor dog had been adopted.

When this poor puppy was only 8 weeks old, it was bitten by a big dog and lost one eye. After that, its original owner abandoned it in disgust.

As soon as Maria saw the puppy, she felt that it had the same problem as her, and she had a strong desire to adopt it. So for the first time, she had the courage to go out and go to a shelter to adopt a puppy with her boyfriend.

Maria named the puppy YOGI, believing that they can encourage each other to face life bravely.

People at the shelter believe that even if the puppy loses one eye, it is still curious about the world, likes to eat and play, and never feels that it is different from before. Such an optimistic spirit can indeed encourage many flawed humans in some aspects.

Sometimes it is indeed very difficult for outsiders to convince a person who suddenly changes from healthy to disabled to face the reality, but she can learn from them some valuable spirit of not caring and continuing to live by observing animals with the same fate as her.
